Joe Klimchak has hosted West Shore Home's television commercials for the past five years. What follows are Joe's answers to commonly asked questions about himself and the company:

Q.) Who are you?

A.) Nobody special. A true Ordinary Joe.

Q.) How did you connect with West Shore Home?

A.) I've hosted a small business segment in the Pittsburgh television market for the past 10 years and West Shore Home is one of the businesses we feature frequently. After about a dozen tapings, West Shore asked if I would be interested in appearing in their television commercials. We recorded the first one in July of 2018 in Oakmont, PA. They had three operational locations in two states at the time. They've since grown into a national brand with 36 locations in 17 states.

Q.) What do you love most about West Shore Home?

A.) Its authentic leadership which starts with owner and CEO B.J. Werzyn. B.J. is the same person on and off camera. He sincerely cares about his customers and generously supports many worthy causes in the communities they serve.


Q.) When you're not talking about homeowner solutions for mold, mildew and drafty windows, what keeps you busy?

A.) I've spent the past 19 Major League Baseball seasons serving as the In-Game Host of the Pittsburgh Pirates at PNC Park. During the off-season, I enjoy sharing a message with middle and high school students about believing in themselves and their ability to improve at any skill. I'm also a group exercise instructor.
 

 

Q.) What's a little known fact about you?

A.) When I was in high school, I seriously considered becoming a priest.


Q.) If you could be cast on any TV show, past or present, which one would it be?

A.) The Andy Griffith Show, my all-time favorite. I'd be kicked back on the bench outside the barber shop with Floyd, Goober and Jud. Simple times. Ordinary folks. 
 

Q.) Have you used West Shore Home for any projects at your house?

A.) Yes, windows. What a difference. I've only ever owned fixer-uppers and this one needed windows desperately.
